For example, if you start using a certain frame style around the photos on one page, then you should use it for all the photos in the site (and potentially around anything else that has a frame too!). The same would apply to drop shadows, colors, opacity etc. By the same token, if you use one style of images, don't change to another style in midstream. Your images should look as if they came from the "pen" of the same designer. One of the pitfalls of downloading free clipart from the web is that the style of the clipart images is not always consistent. Make sure you don't fall into this trap!
