Topic: Social responsibility as a business goal
Your textbook differentiates among goals of a business, such as profit maximization, innovation and corporate social responsibility. What trends do you see in today's business world regarding social responsibility? How important is it for a for-profit business to practice corporate social responsibility in the community? How important of a role do you think non-profits play in the community? Provide some examples of non-profit organizations you admire for their role in the community.
