Introduction Discussion
- Due Jan 26 by 11:59pm
- Points 5
- Submitting a discussion post
Purpose
This discussion gives you the chance to introduce yourself, get to know your classmates, and "test run" discussion tools.
Directions
Post a Biography of yourself, one full paragraph minimum, for your classmates and instructor to read. This is where we'll be interacting with each other, so make your best effort to give classmates a clear description of who you are. In a new post, include information about:
- Where you are from
- Why you enrolled in this class
- Interests and hobbies
- Any questions or concerns about taking this yoga class
To post your biography, click the "reply" button below. You can comment on classmates' posts by clicking the "Reply" button on their post. The Canvas Student Guide

Please post early in the discussion period and write at least two (2) meaningful replies to classmates' threads. A "meaningful reply" advances a discussion by asking a question or adding to a topic. (Posting a Reply like "I agree!"or "Nice post" would not count as a meaningful reply.) In order to receive full points for the discussion, be sure to make the assigned number of posts and spell-check and proofread before posting.
All academic papers and submissions should be void of text abbreviations and include proper capitalization, spelling, and grammar. For every uncapitalized "i" or use of a text abbreviation there will be a one point deduction on your submission.
Ideally, each student should get a minimum of 2 replies to their introduction.
