Your first assignment of the semester will be a worksheet of 20 problems on how math works in a computer. Do NOT rush through this! I know it looks like a bunch of elementary school math problems, but your goal for this assignment is to make sure that you understand the differences between integer math and non-integer math. You will need to recall this concept quite a few times throughout the semester. It has many useful yet obscure applications!

You don't have to print these files out in order to submit them. While you can certainly print them out and re-scan the completed paper, you can also submit these online by using any free PDF reader such as this one Links to an external site. to fill it out directly using the text box feature. I don't recommend conversion tools because formatting can get easily lost during the file change. Stay in the PDF format. Click on Fill and Sign to add text boxes to the document. Save your work, then submit me the file with your answers via Canvas. Make sure you're submitting the right file and not the blank one! If you're submitting a handwritten copy, make sure your handwriting is legible!
