Directions for Written Submission (30 points)
BEFORE YOU RECORD YOUR VIDEO SUBMISSION, ANSWER THESE 2 QUESTIONS

1. Pick 1 Pose. Once you have chosen the pose you will demonstrate, answer the following questions to the best of your ability. (15 points)
This is also the information you will include in your short video submission.

- Explain three alignment cues for each posture (cues that help you achieve proper form and alignment).
- Explain if you adapted the posture to your level of flexibility, injuries, or personal goals. Any contraindications or cautions?
- If you are in intermediate yoga (KFIT 6.2) or advanced yoga (KFIT 6.3), be certain to select a pose or variation of a pose that will demonstrate an intermediate (KFIT 6.2) or advanced skill level (KFIT 6.3). You can always message me if you have questions.
2. Pick 1 Technique (Breath Technique, Relaxation Technique or Centering Technique) (15 points)
- Properly demonstrate and teach me a Breath Technique, Relaxation Technique or Centering Technique.
- List the English name
- Sanskrit name
- List 3 cues for proper technique
- Explain if you adapted the technique, and whether there are any contraindications or cautions?
- If you are in intermediate yoga (KFIT 6.2) or advanced yoga (KFIT 6.3), be certain to describe the Breath/Relaxation/Centering Technique in a way that demonstrates your intermediate or advanced level. You can always message me if you have questions.
Directions for Video Submission (40 points)
Properly demonstrate and teach me the Pose and Breathing Technique in a short video. Be sure to describe what you are doing using the information from questions 1 and 2 above. Videos should be 1-4 minutes in length. Feel free to use what you have written down and speak the written part then demonstrate the pose. Have fun, it does NOT need to be perfect!
