Purpose: This discussion addresses these module goals:
- Discuss the growth of small businesses in relation to the U.S. economy.
- Discuss the factors that drive entrepreneurs to succeed
- Point out qualities that make a successful entrepreneur
The internet has created a countless number of opportunities for anyone to start a business with an internet connection and phone line. It can be a store on ebay or etsy, a blog, being a freelancer on elance.com or other related sites or many other options. There are also sites like www.kickstarter.com Links to an external site. that allow people to raise money online.

Would you be interested in becoming an entrepreneur? If so what kind of business would you want to start? What appeals to you about having your own business? If not, what would you rather do and why don't you want to be an entrepreneur. Find and provide a link to a website that is a good tool for entrepreneurs and discuss it.
