Discussion 12 - Brand Loyalty
- Due Nov 6, 2024 by 11:45pm
- Points 5
- Submitting a discussion post
Purpose: This discussion addresses these module goals:
- Explain how customers evaluate value
- Explain how to increase customer satisfaction
- Explain how social media has affected today's business world
This week's textbook chapter discusses customer relationships and marketing strategies. We are all customers and are exposed to thousands of marketing messages every week, online, on our phones, while driving on billboards, in stores, etc.
It costs a lot more to gain a new customer than it does to get business from an existing customer.
Think of a brand/product that you are loyal to. What is it about this brand that makes you a loyal and repeat customer? What do you think the lifetime value of you as a customer is to the company? What strategies does the brand use to keep you as a customer? (frequent customer rewards, birthday coupons, emails, etc.) What strategies do you think brands can use to create more customer loyalty? How are businesses using social media today to create brand loyalty and develop relationships with their customers? Use examples from this week's textbook reading and video in your answers.
Make your initial posting by 11:59 PM Pacific time on Wednesday. 100 word minimum
