3. Answer the following questions, each answer needs to be about a paragraph long:

1. How did the Persian Empire originate? Why was Persian culture similar to the Vedic culture in India?

2. What were some of the major ideas that the Persian Empire inherited from earlier Mesopotamian cultures? How did these ideas contribute to efficient and stable administration?

3. What was distinctive about Zoroastrianism? In what ways did it differ from Hinduism and Buddhism?
