Quiz 5 (Second half of Section 14.6 & Section 4.7)

Quiz Information:

• Quiz 5 will be held at the beginning of class on Thursday, 9/26.
• It will cover the Section half of the Section 14.6 material and Section 14.7.
  • This quiz will include at least one question about tangent planes to level surfaces and/or normal lines.
• You may use your graphing calculator on this quiz.
• You may use one side of a hand-written 3" x 5" card of notes on this quiz.
• This will be a group quiz - you will work individually for the ten minutes, then, if you wish, you may work in a group of up to three students for the remaining time.
• To study for this quiz, I recommend that you review the class notes, read the textbook, and complete the homework assignment. If you need additional practice problems, I recommend you the odd exercises from the textbook.
