We will visit the Pepperwood Preserve and assist with a series of pile burns. Vegetation management is done to remove ladder fuel, excess forest floor woody matter and other types of woody debris. This is then put into piles and burned to reduce the wildfire risk in the area. You can read more about it at the US Forest Service website.Links to an external site.
