Short Answer Questions:
- Immune System Question 1: Innate Immune system
Give 5 examples of how your innate immune system (ie the general protections that are not specific to a particular pathogen) protects you against something that ''doesn't belong''.
Fill in this chart
What is the foreign particle/agent | Which part of your body is responding |
How does it destroy that which doesn't belong |
Immune System Question 2: Adaptive Immune System
Draw a series of images showing the process of infection by a pathogen all the way to a) destruction of the pathogen and b) destruction of cells infected with the pathogen. Make sure to label your drawings and show each step of the process. This is essentially putting labeled images to the handout from class.
