Change to required Extra Credit Lanzamiento

You can earn extra credit by mixing and matching the following Lanzamiento activities

A. Schedule an appointment with a Lanzamiento Counselor ( 5 points)

  • Write a one paragraph summary of what decisions you made in the meeting
  • Submit a screenshot of the appointment along with a selfie of yourself and the counselor at the appointment.

B. Attend a Lanzamiento Event  ( 5 points) 

• • You  need to attend either a Transfer Center Workshopor a Lanzamiento Workshop
  • Write a one paragraph summary of the workshop content. 
  • Submit  a selfie of yourself at the workshop that includes the name of the workshop in the background.

C. Meet with the Lanzamiento Financial Aid Counselor  ( 5 points) 

You can earn these points in one of several ways.

• • make an appointment with a financial aid counselor (Drina Ochoa is dedicated to Lanzamiento- but there are other one-on-one resources)  submit a screenshot of the appointment along with a selfie of yourself and the counselor in the appointment. 
  • attend a financial aid workshop List of Workshops, submit the name of the workshop and a selfie of yourself at the workshop.
  • Write a one paragraph summary of what you learned in the meeting or workshop.  

NOTE; the only way to get Canvas to give you extra credit is if I  make the assignment officially worth zero, but you can actually earn up to 10 points.
