Zoom class sessions will take place each week on Thursdays 1pm-4pm.

• NOTE: In-person attendance is not required in the February 8 classroom listed in the SRJC schedule.  Please see that date's note below.
• Attendance at the Zoom class sessions is optional, but highly recommended. 
• If your schedule doesn't permit you to attend live, please view the session recording afterwards, which you'll find in the SRJC Canvas Modules by the next day, at the top of the week's chapter module.

Welcome to online Introduction to Information Systems Security! This course uses the CompTIA TestOut corporation's online, simulation-based training product TestOut Security Pro.

NOTE: We'll meet online by Zoom every Thursday afternoon, including the optional February 8 classroom meeting listed in the SRJC schedule. Please see that date's note below.

Unless otherwise noted, assignments are due by 11:59 p.m. (before midnight) on dates given below.

Note to students: the assignments listed below do not include all course content. See the Modules section for all reading, videos, demonstrations, and assignments.

* Due Dates Note: Please expect some due dates to change, especially in chapters with a lot of sections, which we might not be able to cover in a single weekly class session. In that case, I would either delay the due dates of the chapter's later sections, or convert some assignments to optional extra credit.

• • To start, I'll add all of each chapter's assignments to its Canvas module, and make them all due the same day. Then as needed, I'll either adjust due dates or make some assignments optional.
