Introduction to Canvas - Fall 2016
In this module, you will familiarize yourself with our online learning system Canvas. You will be using this system to:
- Access online course materials
- Download important exercise and project files
- Upload homework
- Share information on forums as part of class group activities
- and... check your grades.
To familiarize yourself with Canvas, you might consider completing the following activities (no points awarded!):

| 2. Watch the video Navigating your Canvas Course: click Next or navigate to it from Modules. |

3. Look over the Canvas Information, Help and Guides pages in this module to make sure you know where you can get information on how to use the Canvas system. |

5. Explore the links in the Canvas sidebar (click on "pancake" icon at top left to display it if you can't already see it). |
| 6. Review the course modules and get started on Week 1 by clicking on Modules and clicking on the links under Week 1 in the order provided. |
Your First Canvas Tips
Every module in Canvas can be navigated by the Previous and Next buttons at the bottom of each page.
You can see an overview of the entire course at any time by clicking the Modules link on the left.
