Preliminary Conclusions Discussion

POST: Post a 200-word response to the prompt below by 10 pm on Wednesday,10/12.

DISCUSS:  Return and respond to two other of your group members' posts or my comments on 10/14 by 10 pm.  Since all group members have read all of the research, I'm hoping you can help your group members with ideas about points they can make or evidence they can use in their Final Conclusion Assignment.

PROMPT: This discussion is meant to help you test out the ideas and arguments that you think you want to include in the Final Conclusion (due 10/24) about your Voter Guide topic.  Before responding to this discussion, go to your Voter Guide Group's google doc and read the new In-Depth Research posted there.  Then, considering all of the research that has been collected so far, what conclusion have you come to about your group's central issue? This central issue could take several forms based on your group's topic, but the basic question might be "how should we vote of Proposition 52?" or "What should we do about US trade policy, and which Presidential Candidate has the best plan on that issue?"  What is your response to that central question?

Are their further issues that need to be resolved for you to come to a conclusion? If so, what are they?

The key here is to base your conclusion on the research that your group has collected so far. Thus, I expect you to reference evidence and research in your response here.

Remember, this is an opportunity to get feedback from me on your ideas for the Final Conclusion Assignment before you have to turn it in.
