Homework # 6:
Due Dec 11 at 11:59 pm. This will involved a bit of research and analysis: Think about your favorite food and drink (it cannot be bread and water!), and answer the following questions:
1. What is your favorite food? Your favorite drink?
2. What are the ingredients? How is it prepared?
3. What is the origin of each of the ingredients?--i.e. do they originate in Asia, the Americas, Europe, etc. And how did they end up in the place where your food came from?
4. Provide a brief summary of the history of your favorite food and drink, who made it first and why?--Remember, put it in your own words, do not just copy and paste from the internet. Is there anything about the ingredients or the history that surprised you?
5. What do the ingredients of your favorite food and drink tell you about the global exchange of goods and ideas?
This is a writing assignment worth 10 points.
