Extra Credit # 1:
Due Sept 18 at 11:59 pm. Read Documents by Herodotus and using the same guidelines as homework (total 500-1000 words) and answer the following questions:
- Briefly summarize the strengths and weaknesses of each form of government described in this document.
- Who do you think was Herodotus' intended audience?
- What message was he trying to give his audience?
- Do you think his audience would have been familiar with the forms of government that Herodotus describes?
- Would they have agreed with the arguments made by the speakers in the document?
This is a writing assignment worth 10 points.
Purpose:
To evaluate student's critical thinking responses.
Directions:
- There is no time limit but you must complete the assignment by the due date and you only have 1 attempt.
