This discussion gives you the chance to introduce yourself, get to know your classmates, and "test run" discussion tools.
Directions
For your Post due by June 22nd, 10 pm:
Hit the reply button, below. Introduce yourself to other members of the course by answering these questions:
- Who are you?
- Why are you taking this course?
- Since the final project of the course will ask you to do some research on the November elections, what specific candidates, issues, or ballot measures are important to you? If you're not a person who is usually up-to-date on politics, you might be able to use that assignment to begin informing yourself. So, what issues or aspects of the election are you interested in learning more about? (I have an ulterior motive with these questions: I'm trying to gauge what the class is interested in, so that I can modify the assignment if necessary and begin to collect resources for you.)
Optional: Use the built-in video recorder so we can see your face and hear your voice. Just click the filmstrip icon in the reply editor.
RETURN to comment on 2 other posts by June 23, 10 pm. The commenting due-date will not appear in your calendar, so you must make a note of it.
