Description
There is a list of Chinese radicals on page 14 and 15 from the textbook. Please watch the writing demonstration on a few Chinese radicals. Then, you will choose any 10 Chinese radicals from the list to record your writing demonstration.
Purpose
For this assignment, it is important to learn the basic Chinese radicals and stroke orders to build a strong foundation for learning more new Chinese characters.
Directions
Choose any 10 Chinese radicals from the textbook p.14-15
Review the basic stroke orders by applying them to your writing process. For instance, you will speak aloud of each stroke in numerical order for each Chinese character. (example 大 dà: yī héng, èr piě, sān nà)
Practice describing the writing process of each Chinese radical several times until you are comfortable to record and complete this assignment.
