THAR 10B:  Open Scene - Character Profiles & Given Circumstances

This assignment is solely for submitting your team's Open Scene Character Profiles and Given Circumstances.

 

INSTRUCTIONS

This is a team assignment.  With your scene partner, prepare the following 1-2 pages for submission: 

•  Your open scene's Character Names and Profiles (one brief paragraph per character) - WHO are you?

•  Your open scene's Given Circumstances: 

What's your Relationship?  What is your Backstory?  (WHAT & WHY?)

Setting - WHERE are you in time and space?

Central Action of Scene stated in just 1-3 sentences - WHAT happens in your scene?/HOW it happens?

Although this is a team assignment, both partners need to submit these pages on Canvas for credit.  They can be identical copies.

DRAFT:  You and your partner are instructed to prepare a draft of the information above for in-class rehearsals on March 4 and 6.  You can just show your instructor one copy of that draft in class.  However, while not required, if you'd also submit your team's Draft of your Open Scene Character Profiles and Given Circumstances here for instructor feedback, you can.  Once your team's final version is ready, you can submit it here and the final version will replace the draft.
