Chapter 2 Instructions and Goals

We will cover Chapter two over the next two weeks:

• Watch the first half of a Chapter 2 video lecture, through the section on Box Plots and take notes on the lecture.
• Read the first half Chapter 2, through section 2.4, either in Canvas or in your own copy of the text
• Preview the Chapter 2 Examples and Vocabulary File Download Chapter 2 Examples and Vocabulary File
  • It is recommended that you fill out the vocabulary definitions found in the file as you find them in the text.
  • Work out the examples in the file that are also gone over in my video.
  • You do not have to work out the examples in the file that are not worked out in the video.  This is what we will be focusing on in our second class meeting.

By the second week for chapter two, students will complete the following:
