For this assignment, please watch this 30 minute video on Florida's aquifer and answer the questions below. Florida's aquifer is very different from our own. It is rock which has dissolved through chemical reaction with water creating caves and, literally, underground rivers that divers can travel through.  This is a cool way to experience an aquifer and what can  happen to it. Our aquifer in Sonoma County is primarily gravels and sand...so no diving.

Please answer the following questions after watching the video:

1.  According to the video, what is one of the biggest uses of water in Florida?

2.  As described in the video, list one way that agriculture can lessen the runoff of nitrates into the aquifer.

3.  What kind of rock are Florida's aquifer's made of?

4. What is the name of the diver who led this project?

5. What kinds of manmade objects did the divers find in the Springs?

6. Describe two human environments that they  tracked the divers swimming under?
