Latex Mold of Relief Sculpture

Create a latex mold, mother mold, and plaster cast.

Your latex mold must be completed by the twentieth, ready for plaster at the beginning of class. There will be no latex used on the twentieth! Wednesday will be used to create your mother molds and to cast your reliefs in plaster.

Discuss several methods of reproducing small to medium-sized sculptures. Plaster, Tufstone, latex, and silicone will be introduced. Some materials are costly, and must be provided by the student for their own use.
