How many extra credit points can I earn? 

You can earn 5 extra credit points for each workday Short Answers and End of the Week Quiz  group, so it is equivalent to an extra 5% 

Note -- In order to make an assignment worth extra credit, it has to be listed out of 0 points. 

Note -- total extra credit points in the class will be capped at 25. There will be some additional extra credit opportunities if the stewardship days do not work for your schedule.

How do I earn the points?

 I am involved in the SRJC Campus Biodiversity Initiative Links to an external site., which seeks to improve awareness and enhancement of native biodiversity in urban areas. We facilitate monthly stewardship workdays on campus focused on native habitat enrichment, and would like to invite and encourage you to attend!Attend one of the scheduled Baker Hall Native Garden Stewardship Workdays.   • Write a 100-150 word personal response to the experience. You can reflect any way you like. Some ideas include:
    • what did you do?
    • how did it go?
    • what did you learn?
    • how did it relate to things we are doing in class?
    • have you done something like this before? would you do it again?
    • if you've attended a prior workday, what dates did you attend?

When is it due?

The due date is currently listed as 9:00 AM on April 18th,   because that is the time of the event. You have one week to submit the writeup.
