Vaccine Question 1

• • Take your drawing from last week that contains the following information
    • Innate Immune system- show at least 3 different general ways that we protect ourselves from pathogens. These are the types of protections that work as non-specific defenses. Ie your skin keeps out all foreign particles, and doesn't distinguish between different types of pathogens or dangerous items. 
    • Adaptive Immune System-images showing the process of infection by a pathogen all the way to a) destruction of the pathogen and b) destruction of cell. s infected with the pathogen. Make sure to label your drawings and show each step of the process. This  is essentially putting labeled images to the handout from class. 
    • Double check that you have the following information:  antigen, Antigen Presenting Cell, lymph  nodes, helper T-cells, B-cells, cytotoxic T-cells, antibodies, role of cloning of cells, role of matching proteins, how B-cells and cytotoxic T-cells protect from infection, memory cells 
    • Reinfection- on the above drawing, show what happens when you get re-infected with the same virus. 
  • Make corrections and additions. 
  • In a different color pen/ink, draw in how a vaccine would alter or be added to this process.
  • Bring this combination drawing to class next week.

This Pop Up Window will open - Click on the drop down menu for General Access and select Anyone with Link.  DO NOT select my name or email address. This will go to my Gmail which I NEVER check!!

Then you will select ''Editor'' under " Role''  and click on ''Copy Link'' 

Once you have updated the sharing permission, click "copy link." This is the link you must use to submit your assignment.

You will submit this link by clicking on the tab that says Website and then copying and pasting the URL into the box
