Entrepreneurial Pitch Assignment Description

Points Possible: 250

This project is the culmination of the course and your work for the semester. This assignment will incorporate all of your previous assignments into an entrepreneurial pitch. You will be pitching your idea to the teacher and the class as if they were potential investors. Your pitch should include:

• An attention-getting opener.
• An explanation of your strengths as an entrepreneur (from your self-assessment).
• A presentation of your opportunity canvas to explain why we should invest.
• A presentation of your market analysis, so we can understand the market for your product and how you will sell it.
• A presentation of your business model canvas, so we can understand how your business will run and how it will make money.
• A summary
• A conclusion (including a request for investment)

Your presentation must include a visual aid that incorporates the above information as one unit. You should also practice your presentation several times before you give it, as part of your grade will be based on your ability to communicate your idea. This is a necessary skill for any entrepreneur, so this is your opportunity to polish your skills.
