Module 6 Activity #2: Tuck Sleeve

For this pattern, you want to start with a straight sleeve pattern. There are directions for creating the straight sleeve in 62A_PatternExercise_3_11.pdf. Just like with the A-line skirt, the manipulation is a simple pivot method exercise when you trace off the block pattern. You can also see this illustrated in my demo.
Identify the number and placement of the cut tucks you wish to create at the wrist. Draw in lines for each tuck from wrist to sleeve cap.
Cut along each line to but not through the sleeve cap. Spread apart at the wrist to create the desired volume for each tuck.
Trace off the new pattern shape and mark in each tuck position, adding drill holes as shown in Module 5: 5.2 Tucks
Add all required grainline and pattern information.
