Recap:
This week we learned about how your body uses energy (calories), the energy balance equation and what makes up energy input and energy output. We also looked at your body composition, the ratio of muscle to fat in your body and how to best measure this. Finally we learned about how you lose and gain weight by looking at each nutrient (carbs, fat and protein) and what your body does when there is too much of them and not enough of them.
