OPENING SCENE IDEAS

Absolutely nothing is more important to your script than the opening scene.  A good opening scene sets the mood, introduces the main characters, invites us into a location, hints at the theme and hooks us into the story.

1. Craft three potential opening scene ideas (NOT the scenes themselves) for your script.

Perhaps you'll start with the hero in action, or show us the bizarre story world, or intro the antagonist or the stakes character, or maybe it's something completely different.

Make them distinctive!

Submit here and be ready to share in class!
