Fill in the Blanks of the Five-Point Template for Two Original Stories

It's time to start building your story.  

1. Fill in the blanks for TWO ORIGINAL story ideas using this five-point template (see "Nosedive" example below).

2. SUBMIT HERE AND BE READY  to share in class next week.

1. A sympathetic character

2. With a misconception about life

3. Trying to accomplish a compelling goal

4. While being opposed by a powerful and committed opponent,

5. leading to an  important lesson learned.

Example: NOSEDIVE

A soon-to-be 1. maid of honor who 2. believes value comes from the opinion of others 3. fights to travel to her best friend's wedding while battling the 4. cruelties of a society based on "ratings"  only to learn she's happier when 5. she doesn't give a damn how others feel.
