How to Submit a Google Doc
How to Submit a Google Doc to Canvas
Please use the following instructions for submitting all exercises and assignments
- Sign in to Google Drive
- Open a Google Doc
- Give it a title

FORMAT: (AssignmentName_LastFirst)
- EX: APnumbers_LastNameFirstName
- Go to CANVAS

FORMAT: (AssignmentName_LastFirst)
- Open the assignment/exercise.
- Copy any necessary items to the Google Doc
- Complete your assignment or exercise in the Google Doc
- Click SHARE on the top right
- Under GET LINK:
- Change to "ANYONE WITH THE LINK"
- Change to EDITOR
- NOTE: If these settings are different, then I won't be able to access or edit your work, which will result in a 0 on your assignment
- Click COPY LINK
- Go to CANVAS
- In the assignment, click SUBMIT ASSIGNMENT at the top right
- Choose the WEBSITE URL tab
- THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT – DO NOT CHOOSE the google drive tab
- Copy the Google doc URL into the provided field under the WEBSITE URL tab
- Click SUBMIT ASSIGNMENT
