Meet the Instructor

 Your Professor: Eric J. Adams

Hello fellow storytellers,

I'm very excited to work with you this semester as you begin or continue explore the craft of storytelling and screenwriting.  

I've been in the film industry for over 25 years, a wonderful and wacky place to work (here's my IMDB link) Links to an external site.. A member of the Writers Guild of America, I wrote the screenplay and co-produced the feature film “Supremacy Links to an external site.,” starring Danny Glover and aski “Archie’s Final Project” (aka My Suicide) Links to an external site., winner of 21 major international film festival awards,  I also produced the film Rickshaw Girl, shot in Bangladesh.

I  was graduated with a Masters of Arts in Film Studies from Sonoma State University and received a certificate in Film and Television Industry from NYU/Tisch School of the Arts. 

I believe screenwriters should consider themselves storytellers first and screenwriters second.
