0.21 - Overview - How to Use the Tools in Canvas
Canvas interface and tools
This Unit is designed to help you use Canvas. It shows the interface and highlights the tools used most frequently at Santa Rosa Junior College. Most students will benefit from spending the hour it takes to go through this Module. I encourage you to do so! You can also come back to the videos in this section anytime during the semester, should you need help doing something on Canvas.
Objectives
After completing this Unit, you will be able to:
- identify of the different parts of the Canvas interface
- understand the function of major Canvas tools
Unit Format
This Unit presents the interface and tools of Canvas. This is done through six short videos and short comprehension quizzes. At the end of the module you will take a comprehensive quiz that will determine your general understanding of Canvas and how to use its tools. None of these quizzes is graded. I think that you will find them helpful though.
Time to complete the Unit
This Unit is designed to be completed in less than an hour. Viewing all the videos will take about 30 minutes.
