Learning Activity

Introduction

You now know what implicit and explicit bias is and have some background on the Harvard Implicit Association Test (IAT). Before we experience a few IATs, here is more information to read about the Harvard Implicit Association Test.

Instructions

For this activity, you will select three of the following Implicit Association Tests to complete. As you complete each test, take careful notes about which test you took and the results of that test.  You will then respond to the questions in this survey.

Select three topics from the following:

  • Native
  • Disability
  • Religion
  • Race
  • Skin-tone
  • Arab-Muslim
  • Transgender
  • Asian
  • Age
  • Sexuality

Do not select a test that is not on this list.

Submission

When you have completed the quiz to the best of your ability, click the "Submit Quiz" button located at the bottom right of the screen.
