Introducing the Cast of Characters
If we think about the immune defense as a drama played out in our bodies, the first thing that we need to do is familiarize ourselves with the players and the scenery/locations. For example, you are fairly familiar with the circulatory system, you probably are not sure what the lymph system is. You've heard of White Blood Cells, but probably don't know the difference between the T cells, B cells and Macrophages. We learned about endocytosis, but think about a specific version of this called phagocytosis.
Study Guide Questions
In these videos , I will introduce you to the important parts of the immune system and the basic vocabulary. You will be able to answer these questions from the study guide. You will need to watch both videos to be able to answer the questions.
