Fixing Your Writing Errors

Students: You did this already in the computer lab on Monday, 2/13. 

Introduction

When I make comments on your writing in Canvas, I give you plenty of information to use to improve your writing.  The best way to improve is to use my comments to correct your errors. Look for errors that you make most often. If you correct those common errors, you will have made a leap forward with your writing. Try to remember those errors in your next writing assignment. 

Directions

1. Navigate to your "Big Ideas, Little Packages" graphic organizer.
2. Go to Canvas and click on Grades in the navigation bar.
3. Scroll down the list to find your "Big Ideas, Little Packages" graphic organizer and open it.
4. Read my comments in the boxes on the right. I also annotate on top of your writing. 
5. Click on a comment box and click reply at the bottom right.
6. Type your correction right in that space.  

Requirements

• Find and fix your errors in 2-3 different places.
