Drawdown is when GHG levels move from increasing to declining.   At this point, we have stopped making the climate worse.  Project Drawdown® is a nonprofit organization with the goal of helping the world reach this point.  They are seen as a reliable and leading source of information on climate solutions.

They break up the GHG problem into the sources that generate GHGs and the sinks, that absorb GHGs. Examples of sinks are photosynthesis by plants and oceans absorbing CO2 as carbonic acid

Assignment: Biggest Impact Solutions

They  have organized the different climate solutions according to both the sector they affect (i.e. agriculture vs. transportation) as well as the impact of that solution. Each solution will have a number of  Gigatons of carbon could contribute toward lowering our  GHG emissions.  Table of Solutions by impact Links to an external site.
