Module overview- Ch. 7 lecture and assignments
Welcome to module 4! In each course module, we will be going over 1 or more chapters of material, viewing the Connect provided Smartbook chapter concept videos with problems and chapter problem assignments. You can complete the optional (not graded) end of chapter quiz to enhance your learning or for further test study. These practice quizzes will be open until the end of the semester so that you may use them for study or additional practice purposes. I will also be creating and posting short videos demonstrating concepts and example problems.
Module Objectives
This module is about what businesses call trade and cash discounts. In other words, this chapter (7) is about business to business buying (B2B), and the discounts that businesses will give to one another. There are 2 types of B2B discounts- cash discounts and trade discounts. The chapter explains these discounts and the ways they are calculated. There is a cash discount and trade discount lecture below, as well as chapter 7 slides.
You will also complete test 1 this week, covering chapters 1, 5 and 6. There are 20 questions on the test and you have 90 minutes to complete it, with 2 attempts.
