Emergency Plan For This Class
In the event of an emergency that requires the college to close temporarily or temporarily suspend class operations, you will be notified by the college via email. It is critical that you monitor our college email daily to ensure you are kept up to date on any emergency situations impacting your classes.
I will also notify you of any emergencies impacting our class operation via a Canvas Announcement. I am fully prepared to continue delivering instruction for you here on Canvas and with Zoom. Once the college directs that classes can resume at least online, we will continue ahead. For fully online classes, there will be little or no change in the way we operate. For hybrid and face to face classes, we will use Zoom to hold class meetings online. I will supplement instruction with additional activities in Canvas to ensure we cover all of the required content in the class. YOUR education will continue, but this requires YOUR commitment to stay engaged. Here is how you can always be prepared.
- Be sure your college email account is accessible daily or forwarded to an account you check regularly.
- Make sure your Notifications settings in Canvas push all course Announcements to your mobile device and email.

If you have these four actions in place, you can be ready for any shift we have to make in response to an emergency.
