Microgreens Final Write Up

The goal of our microgreens project was to learn more about the process of science ( and grow some plants along the way).  Please answer the following questions. 

1. What was our hypothesis ? Remember a hypothesis will include the statement ‘’because”.

2. Prediction:  if your hypothesis was true, what did you predict would happen?
3. Data:

4. Conclusion about hypothesis:

  • What were some questions that we had about our experimental set up?
  • Were there any confounding factors/bias in our methods?
  • What does this tell us about the biology of the microgreens or plants in general?

5. Next Steps: We made observations over the course of the experiment. Was there anything that jumped out at you about the growth of the two different treatments? What are other factors that  you think impact the yield from the microgreen containers? What would you suggest that next semester’s students investigate?
