The Secret to Understanding Life: Proteins!
I've said several times this semester that proteins are the ''workers'' in any given living system. They are the molecules that are doing the work. If I say that a chemical reaction is occurring it is the proteins that are catalyzing (speeding up) that reaction. If I say that DNA is copied, it is a protein that is copying that DNA.
So in order to understand cells, viruses and how the two interact, we need to understand the proteins involved in that relationship. Watch this video and answer the embedded questions.
Keep in mind the questions you are trying to answer from this week's Study Guide.
