In the first section of the course we learned about eukaryotic and prokaryotic cell types. Simply stated, prokaryotic cells were bacteria and eukaryotic cells were everything else. Let's delve a bit deeper

Eukaryotic vs. Prokaryotic Cells

Watch this video which gives you a good overview of the two cell types. Keep in mind the questions that you are trying to answer from the Study Guide

1. What  are the organelles we learned about in eukaryotic cells? What does each one do?

2.   What do all cells (prokaryotic and eukaryotic) have in common? How are they different?

Optional: a fun video that teaches cell structures using music. (Links to an external site.)

Optional: Chapters from the textbook. They cover the material in more depth than I do!

        • Chapter 3.2 Comparing prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells (Links to an external site.)
        • Chapter 3.3 Eukaryotic cells (Links to an external site.)
