5 Second Rule Write Up

In this assignment, you are going to write up your 5 Seconds Experiment that we did in lab.  There are 2 parts to this assignment

1. Analyze our data: This short video walks you through what you need to do in order to analyze the data we collected. 
   • You will make a copy of  our Google Sheet(click here to get the copy). Links to an external site.
   • Calculate the average for each treatment. (shown in the video)
   • Create a graph showing your data analysis (shown in the video)

2. Submit the answers to these questions:

• • What was our hypothesis ( 1 sentence) 
  • What were our predictions ( 1 sentence) 
  • What was our experimental variable (hint: this is what we are testing)
  • What was our control treatment (hint: this is the ''unaltered'' condition) 
  • What were our experimental treatments (hint: we had more than one) 
  • What were the results of our experiment ( this is where you would insert your graph)
  • Do our results match our prediction ( yes or no )
  • Was our hypothesis supported or not?
