Welcome to Bio 16

welcome.png

Approximately 7 years ago, I created this course so that students could learn basic biology in the context of current issues taking place in the world.   Little did I know, how immediate and applicable the course content would become!

My goal for this semester is that  you will

  • learn enough biology to be able to understand the topics that affect your lives
  • learn enough about the process of science to assess the scientific claims that you are bombarded with daily
