In the graph on the left, the y-axis is not set to 0. This makes the difference in tax cuts, less than 5%, seems larger than it actually is. If the y-axis is set to 0, as shown on the right, the tax cuts appear much more moderate.

In the graph below, the axis for Smoker Probability of Death is different than the scale used for Nonsmoker Probability of Death. One goes up to 100% while the other only goes up to 40%. This makes it look like they have similar probabilities of death, though the smoker probability is 60% and the nonsmoker probability is less than 30%. Both axes should be scaled the same.
