Introduction: Geographer's Tools, Earth Geometry and MotionThe Geographic Grid

In this Unit, we will introduce the study of Geography and look at the Earth as a planet and its place and movement in the Solar System. We will learn about some of Geographer's most powerful tools: the geographic grid, maps, remote sensing, GIS. We will also investigate time zones and introduce the seasons.
