Having 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I've held just about every operations position in a hotel.  He started in the industry as a dishwasher in high school for ARAMARK Food Services.  His experience in Asia includes working at the Howard Plaza Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan and teaching a Hospitality Certification Class for ELSI Language School training Taiwanese hotel employees in hospitality English and wine tasting.  Over the years, I have worked for Four Seasons, Hyatt, Fairmont, Starwood, Intercontinental, Wyndham, Choice, Interstate and a number of other independent hotels and resorts. Early in my career I was a food and beverage manager overseeing room service, banquets, catering, and restaurants.  

I've taught part time at Mission College since 2008 and have also taught for the International Culinary Center and Le Cordon Bleu. I earned my B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and my China International MBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

I started at Santa Rosa Junior College in Fall 2013 after living in Guangzhou, China for a year.  I love Sonoma County and all it has to offer, wine tasting, microbrews, hiking, biking, the coast, amazing food, the list goes on.  I love investing, stocks, real estate, bitcoin, etc. I enjoy traveling to Taiwan and China whenever I can and speak mandarin fluently.
