Description

There are three parts of the assignment:

Part I: Reading: textbook p. 2-12

Part II: Listening: textbook 4th edition p.2-12 Links to an external site.(Audio: Introduction p.1-11)

Part III: Writing: answer 5 essay questions by describing the basic rules of Pinyin and different tones. 

Purpose

For this assignment, you will demonstrate an understanding of Pinyin and tones to help you learn proper pronunciation.
