Instructions

DIRECTIONS - Carefully read and follow the guidelines from each module assignment page. Again, remember there are module length (500 to 750 words total for all tasks) and quality requirements for each of the 15 modules.  It is recommended that you thoughtfully compose your responses off line. Then, carefully "copy and paste" your responses for all Module #2 assignment tasks in the response box at the end of these directions and guidelines.

To submit your responses, click on the blue "Take The Quiz" box below and then go to the "Question 1" box to write in your responses.

Once working within the response section, be sure to boldly label each Task # prior to discussing your learning. This way I will know which task you are writing about. This all sounds pretty simple and pretty obvious, but many students forget this, thus confusing the professor and/or his Teaching Assistant (TA) greatly!

The required tasks for this module assignment include:

Task #2.2 - In this "Internet Research Exercise," you are to review the following scientific article on homophobia. Read the entire study carefully and then discuss it in a well written reaction paper.

Task #2.3 - For the following psychological oriented Websites, choose one and report back what you learned from exploring either. Explain in tightly worded writing, what you learned. Always try and weave in textbook reading, learning, and research data.

Task #2.5 - In the weeks ahead, we will explore more serious and professional exercises and activities related to human sexuality. Most will derive from web-based resources as well.

The Sexual Addiction Screening Test (SAST) is designed to assist the assessment of sexually compulsive or "addictive" behavior. The test provides a profile of responses which help to identify men and women with sexually addictive disorders.

Provide a written reaction paper regarding what you learned from this exercise. Be sure to consider how valid and reliable you believe the test to be from a scientific point of view. Consider some of your thoughts about what "sexual addiction" really is.

Task #2.7 - Each class week there will be one thought-provoking "human sexuality" question for which discussion is expected from students. You are expected to respond to each question by the end of each class week. Be sure to place the question number (#) in the "subject line" so your classmates will know which week's question you addressing.

Since there is only one "thought-provoking question" (TPQ) a week due during the regular semester, a minimum response of 200 to 225 words is required for each message board TPQ posting. Also, students need to post a TPQ for EACH of the 15 online assignments.

Task #2.8  - After reviewing this film module, report back what you have learned. Explain in a clear, concise, and tightly worded reaction report.
