Description & Purpose

There are a myriad of regulations that govern EMS educational activities in California. While you are not expected to be all-knowing in your knowledge about these rules, it is important that you have at least a fundamental understanding of requirements and limitations in your teaching practice.

What to gain:

You will have an opportunity to explore the regulations that are specific to your practice. For example, you might be teaching in an EMT class at a community college, or providing continuing education at your department. You will review the regulations within that sub-discipline.

Upcoming activities:

Review the introductory video. It will help you get started in exploring this topic.
After exploring the regulatory chapter(s), you will post three key points that you learned in the discussion area. Once everyone submitted their assignment, we will consolidate the points and repost them as a list for you to keep.
At the end of the module, complete the quiz that will affirm your knowledge on this topic.
